About Me
I am a Deaf BSL translator, interpreter and performance practitioner working across exhibitions, media and live spaces. My work sits at the intersection of language, movement and visual storytelling, where meaning is not only translated, but shaped, felt and experienced.
My practice is rooted in lived experience and a deep connection to Deaf culture. I approach language as something physical and expressive, carried through the body, space and rhythm. Translation, for me, is not just about accuracy but about atmosphere, capturing tone, intention and the subtle layers that sit beneath words.
In performance, I respond to energy in the room, the pace of the moment and the relationship between audience and content. I draw on visual composition, timing and presence to create something that feels alive and accessible at the same time.
Collaboration is central to my work. I value the process of shaping ideas with others, ensuring that what is created is not only understood, but truly resonates.
